Family Commits to be Baptized,Transfers and Spoiler Alert

Well today and yesterday was absolutely crazy! I have so much to tell you but oh so little time! So sorry you don't get a whole lot of information! :( like usual.
Yesterday our family came to church again! Then we invited another family that we have been working with. Their story is incredible! The parents kids are members but they aren't. Only because the wife is still married to another guy who is the father of the children (the members). He lives in El Salvador and they don't have any money for her to go to El Salvador and get a divorce so they cant get baptized. But they are amazing people and go to church every week. Anyways we invited them over to share their story and testimonies with the family that we´re teaching. It was so awesome! At the end of the lesson we asked them to be baptized on November 29th and they accepted!! Oh we were so happy and just freaking out and then as we were  walking outside of the house our District Leader calls. Hna Cervantes and I looked at each other and were like oh snap transfers! So she put it on speaker and our district leader told us the transfers, "hna Cervantes you´re going to be a sister training leader in Tonalah Arriaga 2! WHAT?! Then Hna Grover you're staying in Jobo but going to train. WHAT?!"
So to make things short I'm training....For the first time. I just started crying because I was so nervous haha. And I was going to miss my com of course but ahhh! I don't know what to say. I just want to lay on my bed and cry or sleep or who knows. So today my comp went to Arriaga and I'm staying with Sister Training Leaders here close to the Temple and then I meet my first hija (daughter) tomorrow. Yikes.
Pray for me please that...there's lots of things.....just pray that I can listen to the Spirit.
I love you all and hope you have a great week!

Baptism, and the Fruits of the Atonement

Hey! So don't have much time and I'm going to send you pics!! yaya!!!

Ok so quick this week was awesome! Well...Saturday and Sunday! Saturday we had a baptism! yay! It was beautiful! Then Sunday we had a lesson with that family! Only the dad and his two daughters were there though. But the lesson was incredible because it was the first time in my life where I saw and felt the Atonement of Jesus Christ work on someone. It was the most incredible experience Ive ever had. Words cant really describe what happened in those moments but they will always remain in my head. But they really are very interested in the Gospel and want to change their lives and realize that they cant change without Jesus Christ. Its awesome and I'm soooo excited!!! transfers are next week! We'll see what happens. But I might write weird next Monday depending on what happens. So don't freak out if I don't write Monday! Love you all! Have a great week!!! :)

Baptism, Investigators Attending Chruch and Dishes Galore

Hello hello

this week was great because first off we have a baptism this Saturday at 5! Then that family that we taught...they all came to church yesterday. There are 6 of them. They liked it and then we had a lesson with them afterwards and it was awesome. Awesome because of the things they told us. One of them said that he felt something different than in any other church and he loved it and felt so much peace. Then his wife Ana told us a little story that while the speakers were speaking she was so into the talks and trying to absorb as much info as possible that when her husband said something like hey the kids, she would wave her hand and say I'm trying to listen to this talk! haha she liked it a lot and she didn't want to be distracted. They are going to come back the next week :) Other than that on Thursday my comp and I had been praying a lot so that we could do service for the Ward and after that we washed, I cant even TELL you how many dishes. It seemed as if every person we visited had 500 dishes and we came at the right time to wash them all. Not just with members but with investigators also. But I'm grateful that the lord answered our prayers and they let us do service. We felt really good after each time even if it was tiring.
So that was my week!
Hope you all have a great week love you

The Most Amazing Lesson Yet!

Greetings from Jobo! I tiny city on top of a mountain where you walk down the street and there is literally no one around haha. Its pretty sweet here though.

General Conference was amazing huh?! Ohhh myyyy. I'm so glad that you made questions and received answers! The coolest no?!

First off...we don't have many investigators and we're trying to find more. This week we've reeeally felt that there is something missing in the ward. We sat down as a companionship and thought about it. We received some awesome revelation and set up activities the way we felt we could help our ward. Those activities will be happening this week! Super excited. I think in this ward I might not be getting a lot of baptisms. I think Ill be strengthening the members more than anything.

No obstante! (but) we contacted two little girls in the street about 2 weeks ago...15 and 12 years old. They are sisters. We have met with them 3 times. (they have dates for the 15th of Nov to be baptized) Yesterday was the 4th, we went to their house to teach them a lesson and their Dad walked in when we sat down and he started talking to us. We had talked to him the last time too. Not lesson wise, just talking. Anyways, we got to talking again and then a little time passed and he told the wife to come and sit down. So, there was a little family of 4 and we started our lesson. It was so awesome because first it was just the 2, then it was the Dad and then the Mom and we had the whole family. Our goal is to find families. Anyways, after we sang a song the Grandpa came in and started listening. Then a cousin came in and started listening! So now we were talking to a family of 6! And it turns out that the cousin's wife, we had contacted her in the street and set up an appointment with her! Woooow...it was super cool. But sooo nerve wracking. Just having 6 people stare at you when you are teaching them haha. Wow! so scary. I was praying my GUTS out....

That was the most incredible lesson I've had on my mission. They stared at us as each one of us took turns speaking. They stared as if we touched to the center of their hearts and were just soaking up every little word we had to say. It was the coolest experience. We had no idea what to teach and we sure didn't plan for it to happen. But, the words just came to our minds. I always wanted that to happen and I think I just never quite believed that it could...but it did. I don't know what words I said nor my companion that touched their hearts but I know that it was the Spirit. It was such a beautiful and sacred experience that I will never forget. After the lesson, yet we still had to say a prayer...2 MORE family members came in!! The brother of the Mom and his wife! Then we started talking to them and it turns out that the wife's sister is my bishop's wife in my first area chiapa de corzo! wooooow! We set up an appointment to meet with them as well. WOW! Talk about the coolest thing ever. 8 people in an hour and a half.

So that was my week. :) hope yours was great! We only have two weeks left and then transfers! Already! I'm almost at my 8 month mark! Yikes!

Hope you all have a great week!! Love you all so much and miss you always!
